Dormant Orchard Mason Bees are in cocoons ready for emergence in early Spring. The cocoons are in cardboard nesting tubes with paper liners ready to be placed in nesting boxes or cans in the Spring. Each set of four tubes will contain an average total of 24-32 bees. The tubes full of cocoons need to be stored at temperatures at approximately 42 degrees until they are placed outdoors. When the temperature has reached 55 degrees or higher for 3-5 days, it is safe to place your bees outside.
